Breakwater
An operating system where which-path information is conserved
The substrate. Breakwater makes the constraint architecture load-bearing at the operating-system level, pushing the oAOML-library’s legality layer down through the stack so provenance cannot be silently lost.
What it is
Breakwater carries oAOML’s legality checks below the application: a gate, a gated message bus, kernel-adjacent enforcement (LSM / eBPF), toward a verified-kernel horizon. It is a downstream consumer of the oAOML-library, not a fork — the same five-fault discipline, made structural at the level where information actually flows.
Status
Private until the oAOML publication and IP sequence completes; provisional filings precede public posting. It is named here as part of the roadmap.
Repository and papers are not yet public — Breakwater posts once the oAOML IP sequence clears.
