About

WellFlow Labs

The structure of truth-talk — recovered, formalized, enforced.

An independent research lab studying how truth-claims are built, why reasoning fails in a small number of structural ways, and how to catch those failures — in arguments, in engineering, and in machine reasoning.

The Thesis

Beneath the catalogue, an architecture.

The named fallacies have long been a heterogeneous catalogue — equivocation, appeal to authority, false dilemma, category error — rather than a small generative structure. Asked across sixteen unrelated languages, a different picture emerges: apparently different failures repeatedly break at the same five structural boundaries — the axis, the operation, the method, the level, or the frame. Not that every bad argument says the same thing, but that reasoning loses its license in the same five places.

Read the boundaries once and you can catch a failure by its shape, before its consequences: in a rhetorical cheat, in a radiation overdose, in a language model that inherited our blind spots without inheriting our flinch.

Principles

Open knowledge, protected application.

The architecture, matrices, taxonomy, and data are released openly — CC-BY-4.0 and Apache-2.0 — and deposited on Zenodo with DOIs, so the results can be checked and re-run. Applying them inside a computational or AI system is patent-pending and may require a separate license.

The Lab

Independent, and small on purpose.
